About Fouzia Usman

Fouzia Usman is a mother of 3 children, a wife, by profession an Oracle Application Engineer and by passion an entrepreneur. She majored in computer science, and later graduated with a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University in Silicon Valley. While being a very busy working mom and wife, Fouzia has always been very passionate about Dāwah projects. She also prioritized on giving quality Islamic education for her children.

After her son became a hafidh, she set the bars high for her daughters to reach the same goal, Alhamdulilah now her daughters are hifdh students as well. She is a co-founder of practimate.com, and founder of Ummah Stars which is a culmination of years of hard work and dedication towards spreading the deen of Islām. Ummah Stars is an International Islamic App with engaging Islamic education thats available in 3 platforms iOS, Android and web for 3 age groups 4-6,7-10 & 11-14. Fouzia is also a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator.
